Terms of enrollment

Enrolling a child at Hero Training Center means agreeing to these terms. They're short on purpose; ask us about anything that isn't clear.

Tuition

Tuition is per child per month and covers one class month. Families paying by card or bank account are billed on the 15th for the next class month, through Stripe. Your first charge covers the rest of the current month and the month ahead, prorated. Prices are listed on the Programs page and can change with a month's notice.

Arizona ESA

For ESA families we issue one invoice per child per class month, sent on the 15th and due the 1st of the class month. You submit it in ClassWallet (Pay Vendor, then Hero Training Center). ESA invoices must be paid from the ESA account, not by card. ESA funds are not refunded or rebated; if a child leaves mid-month, the invoice for that month stands and no later invoice is issued.

Cancelling or changing

Card and bank families can cancel or change a class with written notice (email to [email protected]) before the 15th. Notice after the 15th takes effect the following month, because that month's tuition has already been billed. ESA families tell us before the 15th so we don't issue the next invoice.

Missed classes and closures

Make-up classes are offered when we can, but are not guaranteed. If we close a location for weather, a host gym event or an emergency, we'll tell you as soon as we know and offer a make-up when possible. Tuition isn't reduced for days a child misses.

Waiver, photo release and policies

Before a child's first class, a parent or guardian signs our waiver, photo release and policies. The photo release can be withdrawn at any time by telling us. Our policies cover drop-off and pickup, who may collect a child, behavior expectations, and what we need to know about allergies and medications.

Physical activity

Our classes are physical: fitness, tumbling, Rally Saber, self-defense and rescue skills. Participation is at the family's own risk. Trainers supervise, teach safe technique and use appropriate equipment, but bumps, bruises and the occasional injury are part of active play. Tell us about any condition that affects how your child takes part.

Host gyms

We meet in gyms owned by others: Oasis Gymnastics in Peoria, Arizona Gymkids in Mesa, and Storm Elite Gymnastics Academy in Prescott. Each host gym's rules apply while we're there, including rules about the gym floor, footwear, food and the areas families may use.

Behavior

We expect children to follow the trainers' instructions and to treat each other with respect. If a child's behavior puts others at risk, we'll talk with the parent, and in rare cases we may ask a family to step away from a class.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we'll post the new version here with a new effective date and tell enrolled families by email.
